The School District of Janesville acknowledges several areas of giftedness. Students can be identified in one or several areas. SDJ policy is to employ multiple criteria for the identification of Talented & Gifted students. A combination of teacher/parent nominations, teacher rating scales, and high performance on normed/standardized tests is necessary for students to become identified as talented and gifted.
