Meet Mrs. Stacy Skemp

I wanted to take a minute to share my background and introduce myself.  I (Stacy Skemp) have been in the Janesville School District since 2007.  I started my teaching career at Janesville Craig as an agriculture teacher, FFA Advisor, and the Gifted and Talented Coordinator.  I also coached freshman girls basketball and softball at Craig.  I was at Craig for four years and during that time I enjoyed serving as the Gifted and Talented Coordinator and teaching the Jr./Sr. Internship class.

Due to budget cuts I was moved to Parker last fall (2011) as the sole agriculture teacher and FFA advisor.  I am currently the assistant varsity girls basketball coach for Craig, while teaching and advising the FFA at Parker.  I have had the opportunity this year to start working with Talented and Gifted students again by being a TAG freshman advisor.  Having this opportunity made me realize how much I missed working with these students.  I am very excited to continue to work closely with the TAG students and families here at Parker.

Feel free to contact me by email sskemp@janesville.k12.wi.us or by phone 743-5585.  I am working with Sean to transition into the position and ensure that everything picks up right where he left it.  Sean has done a great job building the Parker Talented and Gifted Coordinator position and I hope to continue to grow the position in the future.

Thanks,

Mrs. Stacy Skemp
